Debra Jean Harre

August 24, 1953 - February 2, 2022

Deb Harre, 68, of Allison, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital in Waterloo. Debra Jean Dralle was born on August 24, 1953, in Charles City, Iowa, to Henry and LaVera (Copp) Dralle Jr. She graduated from Allison-Bristow. Deb worked for Butler County Home Health and as a cook in Clear Lake for many years. She was affiliated with St. John’s Lutheran Church – Vilmar, where she previously taught Sunday school. Deb enjoyed reading, cooking, shopping, eating at various restaurants, and being outside. She had a contagious laugh that would cheer up an entire room. Deb and her mother LaVera always enjoyed spending time together; they both looked forward to going out to eat and finding ice cream afterwards. She also adored her grandsons and their time spent together. Deb cared about others more than herself. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Doug (Stephanie) Harre; mother, LaVera Dralle; sister, Doreen (Dean Bartz) Dralle; brother, Daniel (Wendy) Dralle; grandsons, Bentley, Ryland, Lynken, Avryck, and Owynn; nephew, Chad Dralle; nephew, Jeremy Dralle and children, Colten, Carter and Corbin; niece, Deedra Dralle and children, Caydon Davidson and Madelin Posey; niece, Chasity (Josh) Symens and children, Hendrix and Jaxson; and niece, Chelsey (Dusty) Miller and daughter Layla. She was preceded in death by her father, Junior Dralle; and her brother, Doug Dralle. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 7, 2022, at Trinity Reformed Church in Allison, followed by burial at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery – Vilmar, rural Greene. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Counsell Woodley Funeral Home of Allison is caring for Deb and her family.
