Elsie Fern Jackson

Elsie Fern Jackson, 88, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away September 4, 2010, at her home in Hampton, Iowa. She was born on August 12, 1922, in Lake City, Iowa, to Robert and Gladys (Radcliff) Minnier. Elsie graduated from High School in Lake City, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Donald Jackson on November 8, 1942, in Bristow, Iowa. Elsie was a business woman. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Hampton. Elsie enjoyed knitting, crocheting and spending time with the group from Maytag. She is survived by her daughters: Darlyne (Doug) Warrings of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Ruth Olson of Nevada and Terry (Richard) Pecha of Latimer; grandchildren: Mary Breer of Nevada, Erin (Dave) Brownmiller of Mason City & Brandon Pecha and fiancé Megan Caspar of Belmond; great grandchildren: Clinton Breer, Jennifer Breer, Caelan Pecha & Nicole Brownmiller and friends: Martha Hines of Hampton and Marcia Colson of Clear Lake. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Gladys, husband Donald, two sisters and grandson Woodrow Edward. Burial will take place in the Oak Hill Cemetery in rural Bristow, Iowa.
