Kenneth E. Wilkinson

Kenneth E. Wilkinson, 85, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away December 30, 2011, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City, Iowa. He was born November 20, 1926, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Kenneth E. Wilkinson Sr. and Ila B. Williams. He graduated in 1946 from Hansell High School in Hansell, Iowa. Kenneth was united in marriage to Eileen Rae Davis on July 3, 1948, in Fairbault, Minnesota. He was a farmer and also worked at Sea Bee's in Hampton. Kenneth was a member of the Hampton United Methodist Church in Hampton, Iowa. He enjoyed camping, fishing and coaching little league baseball. Kenneth is survived by his wife Eileen R. Wilkinson of Hampton, son Le Neil (Monic) of Belmond, son Kent of Hampton, son Mark (Tammy) of Charles City, grandchildren Troy Wilkinson, Melissa Wilkinson-Bissell, Clint Wilkinson, Clark Wilkinson, Kurt Wilkinson, Kelly Wilkinson, Zach Willms, Kyle Wilkinson, Kali Scheidecker, Jordan Willms and Chase Wilkinson, great grandchildren Anthony Wilkinson, Lily Wilkinson, Ashlynn Willms, Ashtin Willms, Alexis Wilkinson, Grant Scheidecker and Austin Scheidecker, sister Elner Fornier of Arizona, sister Helen Nelson of Arizona, sister-in-law Joan Wilkinson of Ohio, and sister-in-law May Wilkinson of Charles City. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers Bill, Don and Max. Burial will take place at the Hampton Cemetery in Hampton, Iowa
