    Kenneth William Irwin

    June 12, 1970 - July 11, 2012

    Kenny Irwin, 42, of Mason City, Iowa, passed away July 11, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. He was born on June 12, 1970, in Britt, Iowa, to Robert N. and Shirley A. (Holck) Irwin. Kenny was confirmed at the Methodist Church in Garner. He attended school at Garner-Hayfield in Garner and then graduated from the Hampton-Dumont High School in Hampton in 1988. Kenny loved spending time with his son Andrew and his daughter Brooke. He was very proud of his family life with his special friend Erica Anderson and her children Alexis, CJ and Taylor Anderson. Kenny loved using his ability to create new things and repair neglected things. He enjoyed playing pool and foosball. As a child, Kenny spent a lot of time camping, boating and water skiing with his parents, sister and friends. He lived life to the fullest his way. Kenny is survived by his parents Robert N. and Shirley A. Irwin of Hampton, the Love of his life Erica (Ochoa) Anderson of Mason City, daughter Brooke McKee Irwin of Mason City, son Andrew Irwin of Mason City, sister Sheri (Steve) Kistler of Crystal Lake, nephew Nicholas Kistler of Crystal Lake, grandmother Viola Holck of Britt, aunt Patty Gartner of Germany and cousins Ricky Irwin of Chicago, Illinois, Linda Irwin of Chicago, Illinois, Karen Amundson of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, Patty Irwin of Chicago, Illinois and Tina Irwin of Chicago, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Kenneth W. Holck, grandparents Richard and Pat Irwin, grandparents Bill and Clare Lemke and uncle Richard L. Irwin.
