Kevin Jennings Collins

Kevin Jennings Collins, 47, of Hubert North Carolina, formerly of Oelwein, Iowa, passed away March 7, 2010, at the Cedar Valley Hospice in Waterloo, Iowa. He was born on December 30, 1962, in Hampton, Iowa, to Jerry William and Diana Maye (Jamison) Collins. Kevin graduated from Oelwein High School. He was united in marriage to Kimberly Ann Keeney on September 16, 1991, in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Kevin joined the United States Navy and retired as a Independent Duty Corpsman in 2004. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, woodcarving and playing cards. Kevin is survived by his wife Kimberly Ann Collins of Hubert, North Carolina, a daughter of Gilbertville, sons Shawn Matthew Collins & Dakota William Collins of Hubert, North Carolina, his father Jerry William Collins of North Platte, Nebraska, sisters Kimber Jean (Jesse) Gadison of Blaine, Minnesota, Kathy Jo (Richard) Blayer of Coulter & Kristi Jane (Mark) Reeder of Independence, grandmother Ollie Collins of Dumont and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Diana Maye Collins, grandfather Halden Jennings Collins and maternal grandparents Jakie and Flavia Wessels.
