Lillian I. Green

Lillian I. Green, 102, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at the Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton, followed by burial in the North Lawn Cemetery in Fort Dodge. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. The Counsell Woodley Funeral Home of Hampton is caring for Lillian and her family. Lillian was born July 14, 1919, in Sheldon, Nebraska, to parents Karl and Mabel (Ross) Borgmann. She married Charles Green and together they started a family. Lillian was a homemaker, and she loved caring for her family. She also worked at an apple orchard in Fort Dodge with Charles for a time. Canning, embroidering, and cleaning were just a few of the things that brought Lillian joy in life. She was especially fond of kittens. Lillian is survived by her daughter, Jennie Dellinger, grandchildren; Mary (Stephen) Welton, Jeffrey Dellinger, Jodi Telfer, Tanner Green, Rebecca Green, Ben (Ashley) Green, and Janet (Mark) Bradley, daughter-in-law, Debra Green, brother Art Borgmann, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, children; Charles, Sandra, Donald and Edna Mae, along with numerous brothers and sisters.
