Louisa A. Wiemann, 88, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away September 19, 2010, at Franklin General Hospital Nursing Facility in Hampton, Iowa. She was born February 19, 1922, in Richland Township, Franklin County, Iowa, to David and Amelia (Janssen) Koenen. Louisa attended country school in Richland Township. She was united in marriage to Henry Wiemann on February 19, 1947, at Zion Reformed Church. She was a housewife and also cooked at the Hampton Senior Center. Louisa was a member of the Zion Reformed Church in rural Sheffield and the Reformed Church Women/Women of Zion. She enjoyed canning, baking, crocheting, genealogy and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Louisa is survived by her daughter Denise (John) Wagner of Ames, daughter Brenda (Perry) DeYounge of Hampton, grandchildren Christine (Carl) Fair, Curtis (Jennifer) Stoltenberg, Bethany Wagner, Michael Wagner, Levi DeYounge and Joel DeYounge, great grandchildren Colin and Cora Stoltenberg, brother David Koenen and son-in-law David Stoltenberg. She was preceded in death her by parents David and Amelia, husband Henry, daughter Cherylene, sisters Florence and Amelia & brothers William and Jerry. Burial will take place in the Zion Reformed Church Cemetery in rural Sheffield, Iowa.
