Margaret I. Jensen, 87, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away January 15, 2011, at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton, Iowa. She was born May 8, 1923, in Geneva, Iowa, to Henry and Bertha (von Gemmingen) Raisch. Margaret graduated from the Geneva High School in 1941. She worked for two years at the airline bomber factory during WWII in California. Margaret was united in marriage to John C. Jensen on October 8, 1944, at Grant Center Lutheran Church in Geneva, Iowa. She worked at the Hampton Health Care Center in the Dietary department. Margaret was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton. She enjoyed watching Iowa Hawkeye Basketball, along with cooking and spending time with her family. Margaret is survived by her son Bob (Yvonne) Jensen of Santa Clara, California, son Larry (Karry) Jensen of Cairo, Nebraska, son Roger Jensen of San Jose, California, daughter Cheryl (Jim) Barrick of Hampton, sister Mildred Armfield of Latimer, sister Alice Perkins of Visalia, California, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Evelyn and Alwin Rodemeyer of Latimer, sister-in-law Esther Muhlenbruck of Loveland, Colorado, sister-in-law Dorothe Raisch of Boise, Idaho, sister-in-law Elma Raisch of Hampton, grandchildren Nic (Kelly) Barrick of Johnston, Tera Barrick of Johnston, Mandie (Jonathan) Brzon of Topeka, Kansas, Marnie Jensen (Kenny Bogus) of Nebraska City, Nebraska, Tausha (Artie) Moeller of Grand Island, Nebraska, Christina (Justin) Proulxs of Sunnyvale, California and Eric Jensen of Santa Clara, California, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Ronnie, three brothers and two sisters. Burial will take place in the Hillside Cemetery in Sheffield, Iowa.
