Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Schoon, 67, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away February 25, 2011, at his home in Hampton, Iowa. He was born January 30, 1944, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, to Henry and Grace (Murra) Schoon. Ronnie attended schools in Iowa Falls. He was united in marriage to Dianna Fink on December 20, 1963. Ronnie worked for Farmland foods in Iowa Falls, helped out many local farmers and most recently he was a painter and drywaller. He had a special skill with Old English lettering. Ronnie enjoyed playing pool, working and most of all riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. The three most important things in his life were first Football, second Harley Davidson and third his wife Dianna. He is survived by his wife Dianna Schoon of Hampton, sisters Marlys Johnson of Hampton, Darlene (Elmer) Mennenga of Hampton and Linda Hovenga of Hampton, numerous nieces and nephews that both Ronnie and Dianna loved dearly and many cousins and friends. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Grace, nephew Denny, brother-in-law Jerome Hovenga and brother-in-law Bernie Johnson. Burial will take place in the Hampton Cemetery.
