Ronald Wayne Fox, 83, of Allison, Iowa, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015, at his home in Allison. He was born on December 19, 1931, in Aredale, Iowa, to Edward and Hazel (Pencook) Fox. Ronald graduated from Bristow High School. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Ronald was united in marriage to Faythe Dickman on August 17, 1953, in Washington, D.C. He was a retired livestock buyer. Ronald was a member of the Bristow Amvets and was affiliated with the Allison Congregational Church. He enjoyed sports, fishing, playing cards, putting puzzles together, birds and spending time with his family and friends. Ronald is survived by his wife Faythe Fox of Allison, son Rick Fox of Le Mars, daughter Charmaine Power of Albia, daughter Sally and husband Jack Grutz of Bellevue, granddaughter Kayla Grutz and Niel Burns of Pierre, South Dakota, granddaughter Courtney Grutz and fiancé Zack Konetski of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, brother Orville (Ardith) Fox of Waverly, sister-in-law Irene Brinkman of Waverly, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Hazel Fox, brother Walt Fox, sister Wilma Truax, sister Lorraine Botterbrodt, son-in-law Edward Power, brother-in-law Harvey Brinkman and brother-in-law Emery (Margaret) Dickman.
