    Therron Alan Miller

    February 28, 1966 - March 20, 2011

    Therron Alan Miller, 45, of Latimer, Iowa, passed away March 20, 2011, in rural Latimer, Iowa. He was born February 28, 1966, in Belmond, Iowa, to Arnold Verne and Marie Christina (Nueberger) Miller. Therron graduated from the CAL Community School in 1984 and Hawkeye Technical College in Waterloo, Iowa. He married Marsha Nelson on June 13, 1992, in Hampton, Iowa. Therron worked for Don & Elaine Lubkeman and Everett & Doreen Petersen on their farms, then he worked at Henning Construction until 1992, when he became a grain and hog farmer. He was a member of the Zion Reformed Church where he was on the Church Consistory, he also was a member of CAL School Board, CAL Education Foundation, Latimer Fire Department, Franklin County Fair Board and Dow's COOP Board. Therron has received the Master Pork Producer Award. He loved all events his children were a part of, he blessed his family with unconditional love and support and enjoyed his dachshund dog Lizzy. Therron enjoyed talking to people especially about his true love of family and farming. He is survived by wife Marsha Miller Latimer, son Clayton Miller of Latimer, daughter Karter Miller of Latimer, son Blake Miller of Latimer, mother Marie Jurgens of Latimer, brother James (Jill) Miller of Clear Lake, brother Robert (Pat) Miller of Sauke Center, Minnesota, sister Kristy (Mike) Oswald of Des Moines, mother-in-law Phyllis Nelson of Hampton, sister-in-law Michelle Nelson of Thornton, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal & paternal grandparents, father Arnold, step father Paul, father-in-law Dean and niece Holly. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Therron's children's college funds. Burial will be in the Zion Reformed Church Cemetery rural Sheffield, Iowa.
