Todd J Witte, 54, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017, at his home in Hampton. He was born on February 21, 1963, in Hampton, to Marvin and Cleone (Crawford) Witte. Todd was baptized and confirmed at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton. He graduated from Hampton High School. Todd was united in marriage to Deb Jones, the love of his life, on February 14, 1984, at the United Methodist Church in Hampton. Todd owned and operated M & W Custom Builders in Rifle, Colorado, prior to moving back to Hampton. Todd enjoyed working construction and building homes for him and Deb. He loved his dachshund dogs Sammy, Jake, Spencer and Sara, and enjoyed skiing, white-water rafting, and raising sheep on their ranch in Colorado. Todd is survived by his wife Deb Witte of Hampton, brother Thad (Dawn) Witte of Lisbon, North Dakota, sister Torri Witte of Hampton, brother-in-law Howard Walker, nieces and nephews Alec Witte, Cassie Witte, Ethan Carr, Leatha Slauson, LaKisha Walker, LaKayla Walker, mother-in-law Bev Jones, sisters-in-law Diane Wilkinson and Denise (Neil) Ditch, nieces and nephews Holly Windelow, Billie Jo Claypool, Casey Ditch, Josh Hunt and Brady Hunt, and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Cleone, sister Trudie Walker, maternal grandparents Edward and Flossie Crawford, paternal grandparents Wilbert and Laurena Witte, father-in-law Marlin Jones and brother-in-law Jim Wilkinson.
